Donald Trump shared 12 minutes of anecdotes about golfer Arnold Palmer at a Pennsylvania rally.

As the 12-minute tangent began Saturday evening, Trump spoke in Latrobe, Palmer’s birthplace. The former president began by praising Palmer’s career and recounting previous conversations with him. “There were some golfers you might be a little bit better at, some, not many,” he said. “But none of his magic.”

But the former president’s story, the latest in an increasingly outlandish series of claims, quickly went viral as he discussed some intimate details about the golfing icon.

“This is a guy who was all human,” Trump said. “He showered with the other pros and they came out of there and they said, ‘Oh my God, this is unbelievable.’ I had to say.”

“I had to tell you the rain part because it’s true,” he added.

Social media users mocked the former president for the incident.

“According to the most recent NYT/Siena poll, the top three issues for swing voters are: 1. Inflation 2. Abortion 3. The size of Arnold Palmer’s schlong,” podcast host Dan Pfeifer wrote In X.

Others commented on the vulgarity of the comment.

Palmer was born in 1929 in Latrobe. Nicknamed “The King,” Palmer is one of the most famous golfers in American history. Palmer died in 2016 in Pittsburgh at the age of 87.

Trump leads Harris by one point in Pennsylvania, the latest Emerson College poll shows. While Trump was debating Palmer in the key swing state, Harris was campaigning with Usher in Atlanta. The Independent The Trump campaign was contacted for comment.
