Jamie Foxx is back in town after months of “experiencing a medical problem”.
The “They Clowned Tyrone” star appeared in a video on Sunday on a boat with some people on the Chicago River. Obtained by TMZ.
Foxx, 55, waved and smiled at fans who invited him.
“Boat life,” the entertainer tweeted Sunday evening, his first tweet in months, noting that he was “celebrating summer” with his whiskey brand, Brown Sugar Bourbon.
Foxx added: “Be blessed!”
The public outing comes two months after her daughter Corinne Fox revealed that Fox had been released from hospital and is recovering at home following a medical complication.

“It’s sad to see how the media is running wild,” the 29-year-old wrote in her story, where she reposted a deleted social media graphic from music publication RapTV, which said the family was “preparing for the worst” following Foxx’s health scare.

“My dad has been in the hospital for weeks and is recovering,” she said. “Actually, he was playing pickleball yesterday!”

“Appreciate all the love!!!” He included a hand emoji, a heart and a fox emoji in his brief post. “Feeling blessed.”
In April, the Foxx family revealed the medical event in a since-deleted Instagram post.
“Fortunately, due to quick action and intensive care, he is already on the road to recovery,” the statement said. “We know how much he was loved and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy at this time.”
